Did a moderate correction on a friend's 2009 Tacoma and coated with Gloss Coat! Wish I would've snapped a before picture....quite the turnaround.

Coated a friend's Power Wagon with Gloss Coat.

He appreciated it for sure, but I don't think he can tell a difference....doesn't have that detailer mentality I guess 😂 He is amazed by the ease of washing though.

So I had to redo my hood because some blemishes (I think they were water spots) and a gnarly scratch were driving me crazy. Used Meguiar's Compound then Hyper-Polish. Also did my cousin's Fusion with help from her husband. Wasn't going for perfection, but the metallic flake POPPED after applying Gloss Coat.

Got some nice beading shots today out in the rain. The truck has been driven 200 miles since the application and hasn't been washed. My car has been garaged since I applied Gloss Coat. Some of the nicest beading I've seen!

Thank you Habs and Heijneker! Realized I induced some scratches on the door pillars during the prep wipedown 😕 but since it's a daily driver I don't plan on fixing it. Should've done a 2-step correction but looks good to me! Still have about 9cc left in the syringe so not sure what's coming next.

Finished my car today with Gloss Coat! Turned out awesome. Did something different this time and polished multiple panels with Hyper Polish before going back to wipe off. I feel like you could polish the entire car and have zero issues removing the polish. First picture is prior to polishing, can see all the defects on the hood. Very impressed with the Gloss Coat, swear my wheels have been getting glossier by the day and I decided to get some Opti-Seal just to see how it performs on glass. I know Yvan promotes it as a glass cleaner. Next week I'll be tackling my car:

Was able to get a better look outside today. Found 2 high spots on the bottom of the tailgate. I don't have any plans on fixing those...light has to be just right to see them. Also uploaded a video showing the hydrophobic/shedding performance:

Habs, I can definitely tell a difference between the Seal and Shine and Gloss Coat...Seal and Shine gives a warmer color, but my dad doesn't care haha. When I do my car it'll all be done using the same products 👌 Ended up using about 8cc on the hood, fenders, doors, and tailgate. Optimum Hyper Polish was awesome to use. Zero dusting and a huge time saver being in a sprayable form! Had no issues with a 4" pad on my Griot's G8 which I was unsure of because the backing plate is 3". Paint was nearly perfect (10k miles) so didn't have to do many passes. Habs, you were 100% right on using the paint prep liberally...had very few high spots to spread out. When I get ahold of some I will! Washed and clayed the truck tonight. Tomorrow is polishing and then Gloss Coat. Decided to not do the roof and glass (Seal and Shine instead) as I'm trying to get 2 Fusions and the F150 from 20cc.

Decided to try Gloss Coat on my wheels. Cleaned: 2 hours after: Not the best pictures but very noticeable difference in person!

Thank you Ron and Habs for the insight on not needing Opti-Seal. The vehicles will be garaged immediately so all should be fine! I'll be doing my dad's F150 as my test vehicle since I purchased the 20cc syringe, but I'll make sure I keep this thread updated with pictures of the results. Can't wait for the Gloss Coat and Hyper Polish to arrive so I can get to work
