Ron Harris
I thought I would share a couple of pictures of a tool that I use for PDR as well as detailing. For detailing I use it to prop low hoods and hold back gates as well as doors so that I can buff off the edges and not worry about catching an edge. It is a pair of Vise Grips the needle nose type. Purchased from Home Depot I also purchased some threaded rod the same size used in the pliers. I bent it and cut it to fit my needs. Then the hardest psrt sliding on the rubber tubing so you don't scratch any thing with the piece that goes into the striker
Charlies02GLS
Very nice idea, sure beats how I tape off the opposing panel's edge to help mitigate the risk of buffing through.
