ONR vs. OID for quick clean-ups

Recommended Posts

I'm going to start keeping a spray bottle and a couple of microfibers in my trunk so that I can do a quick clean up of bird droppings or tree sap when I'm out on the road and don't have time to do a full wash. My last car got etched pretty bad because I waited to clean up a bird bomb, and I want to prevent that going forward. My question is what would you guys recommend putting in the spray bottle? Right now I'm leaning towards a standard 1gal:1oz mixture of water and ONR, but I've heard some people use OID for doing spot cleanings too. Would there be any problem with pre mixing the ONR and keeping the same bottle for a year? It doesn't degrade once it's diluted does it?

Thanks,

Mike
