Guest trammel
Hello, I recently used Opti Clean on my windshield and rear window (I normally only use it on painted surfaces) and I was very pleased with the results. The glass was very clean with no smearing. A few days later it rained and the water was beading and running nicely off the glass. I didn't even have to use my wipers. All was good until the rain stopped and the glass dried with a film of spots all over it. Has anyone else had this happen? Did I apply too much product? Thanks, -Tom
Lowejackson
Welcome to the forum No idea what could be causing the problem. I have used Opticlean many times on my windows and never had anything like your problem. However, I would just give the glass a damn good clean and see if that helps
Ron@Optimum
I have never had that experience with Opti-Clean (and I use it for everything including mirror/windows/showers, even tile/wood floors). A film buildup does sound like you used a high concentration of OC. Optimum products are counter intuitive - more is not better. Most issues I deal with are people using too much product. As Lowejackson suggested, go back over with an OC dampened microfiber and see how that works.
