johnnyninja
I’m wondering how often Protectant Plus needs to be used. Also, I typically wipe down the interior surfaces and seats with ONR. Would I need to re apply Protectant Plus after doing that?
Guest
Once every 3-4 cleanings, or every 3 months. Another option is to mix up 1/2 oz of Optimum No Rinse(ONR), 2-4 oz of Optimum Leather Protectant ( aka Protectant Plus) into 1 gallon of water. This will allow you to clean and protect in 1 step. Lowejackson
Yvan, nice idea about mixing the two products. On a slightly different area, could I dilute Power Clean with ONR (256:1) to give some more lubrication?

Lowejackson
Next time I get some PC I will give it a quick try and see what happens. Might be a while as I am tempted by a German APC for my next purchase

This is definitely a great and easy method to add protection. Nick from Hawk Pro detailing has great vid on it: I did some testing on my own, on a scooter with a leather saddle and a dirty running board: from left to right: - Protectant plus sprayed on and wiped off. - Wiped with 4 oz of Protectant plus and a 1/2 oz of No Rinse combo in a gallon of distilled water. - Protectant Plus applied to towel and wiped the surface. I Applied the No Rinse Protectant plus combo first, and then taped over that after an hour. I feel like the tape removed some of the darkness. Here it was on it's own: Would like to do/see a proper test of this someday. Jayk82

Marbles Garage
I used the ONR / OPP combo yesterday and can definitely see this becoming my primary interior wipe-down / detail spray.
Ron@Optimum
Protectant Plus is another underappreciated Optimum product - it's not only a great interior product, but also the best for exterior trim (great UV protection).
