I know I'm being OCD but when you keep dunking the sponge into dirty rinse water to me its the same as using a single bucket. Well, there is a difference between "dirt" and "grit". At least from the standpoint that grit will swirl your paint, and dirt won't. That isn't coming out right. You should be leaving the grit in the bottom of the rinse bucket, below the grit guard. The rinse water will get dirty, but you will be squeezing that dirty water out before you go back to the wash bucket. Of course there will be some dirty water in the wash media, and some possibility of grit, which is why people like the multiple media method. I guess the proof of the pudding is with my method, the rinse bucket gets dirty, but the wash bucket stays clean, which means...something. You've gotta do what your comfortable with. There's a million different ways to skin this cat.
