SEMA UPDATE

SEMA is traditionally the time for new product announcements and this year is no different.  I can't give details, some products are not even in a bottle yet, but will "leak" that there will be a bumper crop of new formulas, line extensions, and new product entries.

I haven't gotten samples to play with yet but as soon as I'm allowed, I will provide complete descriptions and personal observations.  Anyone who knows Dr G understands he plays everything close to the vest but I'm excited he's back in the lab, creating new and exciting compounds.

That's funny Ron, this morning I was thinking about posting a SEMA thread, but I said to myself "nah, it's too early".

One of the online detailing personalities (not affiliated with Optimum) was demo'ing a technique with an "unreleased" polish  and I thought to myself "I bet that's going to be released at SEMA".

Anyway, looking forward to what OPT has in store.

I think that one is going to be a hit.

I'll never have to get water spots at work ever again. Boss loves the foam show. He's never said anything negative about the hybrid rinseless washes he gets though.

I'm anxious to try it!

got my sample of foaming No Rinse and another interesting new product I can't talk about (until Don back doors me again on Facebook).  Foaming No Rinse is another multi-functional OPT product.  The foaming part is self evident and answers a frequent complaint against ONR, that it stubbornly refused to foam. It can be a stand alone wash - spray and dry (no residue).  It can be a prewash and rinse/dry.  It can be a prewash followed by the traditional ONR bucket wash.  All depend on how dirty the vehicle.  FYI, it has the same dirt encapsulating technology that makes ONR so special and combines with the popularity of foaming.

As a tease, the other product is new tech and something that answers issues I get asked often...
