davidl351
ONR Hyper Foam: Directions say 8 ounces to 1 gallon for waterless wash. Opti-Clean is 1:3 (saw 1:4 somewhere). Makes it less cost effective. Other companies say 1 ounce to 1 gallon. Does ONR Hyper Foam/Opti-Clean lose effectiveness at 1:128 or are those other products not as effective? Looking to stretch product. Ron@Optimum
The recommended ratios are what Optimum has found to be most effective for the project. The wash mixes are for the average rinseless job - the waterless ratio (Opti-Clean and ONR) are more concentrated because you don't have water for added lubricity. You can experiment with various mixes to see what works for you, but cleaning power may be reduced and you might have to go back over the paint. Doctor G
With Hyper Foam at 8 oz. of concentrate diluted in a gallon of water, you are only using about 4 oz. of the waterless wash to clean your car while with the competitors you add 1 oz. of concentrate per gallon but you use 32 oz. of product to soak the car and clean it so in essence you use 0.25 oz. of either product to clean your full size vehicle.
