jelia Posted April 6, 2014 Share Posted April 6, 2014 I had my DD opti-coated with Opti-Coat Pro about 6 weeks ago. I noticed a stone chip of some significance during my weekly wash. I looked at a few options for a simple repair - i just want some protection and cosmetic improvement for now - and am wondering if anyone has repaired a a stone chip with Dr. Color Chip on an opti-coated car? It seems this might be better than the oem touch up. A pic of the chip is below. Will the Dr Color Chip blending solution affect the opti-coat? Remove it at all? Or look bad on top of it? What have you used or recommend for a temporary or limited repair? I'm a newb to this level of car care so any input is appreciated. Thanks!
