Guest b1rd Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 Hi, I had my subaru opticoated over a year ago when it was brand new. Looks fantastic with almost zero swirl still but there are definitely still some areas that aren't as nice and definitely getting swirled upon wash.... i'm thinking either some grit got in my wash mitt or perhaps the OC wasn't applied properly/evenly in some spots. Is it possible to tell, upon inspection, if a small area was not opticoated? Would there be an obvious line where the opticoat stops? Is it thick enough to feel or see by eye?
