NewbieDetailer Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 I've got a 2006 BMW with minor scratches/swirls plus a few rock chips and a couple minor dents. I'm going to be using Optimum Finish as well as Opti-Coat 2.0 plus Dr. Color Chip. I've searched and some say to use the Color Chip after polishing (maybe prior to the opti coat?), but I wanted to get some advice on this. Perfections Detail Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Clean surface really well with alcohol, then dr colorchip to fix paint, do the pdr work, wait 30 days, polish, it won't mess with the dr colorchip as long as you prepared the area correctly, then opticoat.
