Ncar1stdetail
Hi Chris, about to coat my new jerez black car. used opt products (hyperpolish) to prep. just washed off the polish (onr in distilled and MANY clean microfibers (gary dean) after a final black pad pass all around. some panels have minimal residue/spots i assume from ONR. can i opti-coat nwo and is this residue miscible? should i go over all these spots/panels with distilled/MF to remove? it can only be onr or some hyperpolish left, as only products beside many steps ago clay/cgcw. thx
Perfections Detail
Heya brother, a damp mf or onr will take off and residue from the optimum polishes. Prep is key with opti coat, so make sure it looks perfect before you apply coating. Check with several angles with good lighting before you start to coat.
