sydtoosic Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 is there an optimum soap that needs to be used for a regular maintenance wash after the OC 2.0 is applied to your paint. or can i use any mild shampoo? i have CG extreme wash, citrus wash&clear, Lusso Oro, Auto Finesse, Wolfs nano shampoo. can i use Sonax Polymer Net Shield in about a week, after the OC application? i have more questions that i'll save for another day. thanx in advance for any replies. sydtoosic Posted March 11, 2013 Author Share Posted March 11, 2013 phil advised me to wait a week before applying SPNS, so i washed her today using CG extreme wash. foamed with the same shampoo. used the 2 bucket, grit guards, 2 mitts etc. as i always do. pat dried, compressed air for the ton of water always lurking in the cracks and crevices. took her out into the sun and did not see any wash marks or clear coat scratches or marring. with the HB and 22PLE... marks would have been left.
