Setec Astronomy
Thanks for telling us about this new product (and others). However the images you have included don't seem to be embedded nor can I open or download them.
Ron Harris
Don't know what it could be. It's working on my end.
Setec Astronomy
It shows up as a link for me. If I click on it I get a forum page that says "Sorry, you don't have permission for that"

Setec Astronomy
Ok, I can bring up the picture now. So this is made out of a similar material to the Opti-Eraser? And it's got Velcro on the back so you can put it on a DA, or you can use the interface adapter to use by hand?
Ron Harris
Yes sir. If you're using on a DA speed should be set to 1 or the slowest speed.
Setec Astronomy
I guess I'm a little confused with so many mechanical decon products now--there is Opti-Clay, Opti-Eraser, Opti-Clay Towel, and now Opti-Clay discs. Is this just personal preference, providing a solution to whichever style a user likes? Is the synthetic material the same on the Eraser, Towel, and Disc? I notice the colors on the Towel and Disc are the same while the Eraser is slightly different.
Ron Harris
I don't have an answer to that question. I'm 99% sure the disc and towel are the same product. However the eraser i'm not sure of. I guessing the thinking behind the different products would be cost and who is going to use them. A shop like ours would use the disc and towel on a daily basis and cost more then the block. The block being for the DYI persons working on just their personal vehicle. Costing less
