gsgleason
I had a moment where the gloss coat dripped out of the syringe onto my car. I though I had found and re-spread those spots, but I was evidently mistaken. I saw in the outside light today some drip marks on my door panel, including the black trim between the panel and window. It has been several days, so it's quite hard now. As I understand, the only way to correct it is to mechanically remove. So I plan to polish those spots out and re-prep and coat. My question is this. Will I be able to just polish that small section and then paint prep and re-apply gloss coat, going over the bare spot as well as the surrounding areas? Will it blend? Or will I have to do the whole door panel?
Setec Astronomy
It should blend. It's only a micron or two thick.
