Optigk
May I add to this thread? I used my mitt for the first time today w a 2BM and love it. I used the dark side to clean my windows and paint, then used the yellow side for plastic trim, wheels, tires (I wipe them bc they aren't that dirty since I applied a coating). When finished I soaked it in my ONR bucket, scrubbed it against the grit guard and rung it out. Is this a sufficient way to clean it?
Optigk
it should be washed periodically...even machine washing is fine...but, don't use the same mitt on wheels and paint. Brake dust is very abrasive and will mar the finish. Ok, so even though I'm only using the yellow side for wheels, I should still get a separate mitt for the rest of the vehicle? Optigk
Thanks. I just ordered another mitt since I contaminated my first one.
Ron@Optimum
Periodically it's good to either machine wash your mitt or soak it in an all purpose cleaner. The same applies to the Big Red Sponge.
