beetlevw72 Posted August 2, 2012 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Okay, so I hope to get my car coated soon but I wanted to verify a couple things. I have Ultima Paint Guard Plus on my car right now and I know that OPT Compound and Polish will remove all of that but I won't be able to polish my clear bra. Will an IPA wipedown suffice or will I need to get Power Clean? If IPA will work, what dilution ratio do you guys recommend? I just want to get all of my ducks in a row so I get the best results. Perfections Detail Posted August 2, 2012 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Heya brother be careful using ipa on clear bras, I've seen some weird reactions. Personally I'd just use dawn, one ounce per gallon, and go over the 2x2 section a few times like your polishing paint, it'll remove the upgp.
