primo spaghetti
Hey Guys; I havent been on in a while and miss being here, but ive been VERY busy Lately. Chris, i got a few bugs worked out i needed to work out for my order too, so I will be in contact this week...i had to ge the broker all set up whihc im glad to say is all done! Anyhow, with that being said, Ive been approached by a customer who wants the chrome and rims on his harley done in OC/OG. i dont see any issue on the rims and regular chrome, but what about the pipes? they get SUPER hot of course, and im not sure if OC/OG will withstand that heat.. Id hate to mess the pipes up on this guys bike...
Perfections Detail
Primo, I've had no problems thus far. The coating hasn't even changed colors like some polishes will do on those hot pipes!

Evaporator!
But the real question is, does it retain its protective properties after exposure to heat even if it doesn't change color?
Perfections Detail
But the real question is, does it retain its protective properties after exposure to heat even if it doesn't change color? The pipes sheet water like crazy so I've always thought opti coat was very resistant to heat.
Paul S
Never would have thought to coat the pipes. Good info.
TTCarrera
Could I then assume that you can also effectively apply OC2.0 to highly polished stainless steel exhaust pipes?
