telmomassa Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 HI, I have about 30 headlights to restore right now, I wanna use Optimum products but Im getting i few doubts, 1- To take out most of the yellowing should i use the Opti cutting pad or a grid like 500-1500 ? 2- then use the Optimum polishng pads to take out the small swilrs and, 3-finally get the finish look together with Optimum Compound II 950ml or Optimum Polish II 950ml? Since is my first work at headlights (only worked with windsheild polishing) can you tell me in average how many pad should i buy, polishing compounds please Best regards! Ron@Optimum Posted October 31, 2013 Share Posted October 31, 2013 It really depends on the condition of the lens - you might start with the polishing pad to see if that works, then go to cutting if more correction is needed.
