oli
I am planning to clean an aluminum boat. Right now I don't know what to prep the alum. with, but I know a lot of people are using Sharkhide to seal the aluminum after cleaning/polishing. How does Optimum opti-seal compare with Sharkhide? Lowejackson
I had to look up Sharkhide, which appears to be a highly durable product for metal. Optiseal is a very easy to use product but has the tradeoff of lower durability. Therefore if durability is important, and I am assume on a boat it will be, maybe there are better alternative products. Maybe something like Optigloss? Lowejackson
Unfortunately I have no experience of Opticoat or any other coatings so it is nothing other than a guess to say it would probably do a very good job. Hopefully someone with greater coatings knowledge will join this thread and give a better anyswer
