Guest George6
Have read in the OID thread that it works well on glass. Does this include windshields? How does it react with typical windshield washing fluid, which contains an antifreeze component up here in Canada? Does it affect the rubber windshield washer blades in any way? Thanks for your help. Lowejackson
OID is fine on windscreens but it will not last very long and I suspect windscreen washing liquid will easily remove it. Something like Optiseal will last a bit longer but for a durable and chemically resistant product you will need a dedicated coating eg Optiglass. In colder conditions things like ice and snow are easier to remove compared to glass which is not coated
