Dario
I have opti-coated windshields. Is there any wiper fluid I should not be using, or does it not matter much? Also, would it be advantageous to add some Opti-Glass Clean and Protect to the washer fluid? Or does it not work if diluted with other cleaners? Just trying to get clear (pun intended) on what will work best and keep my coating working the longest.
Ron@Optimum
Dario, I know of no wiper fluids that would damage Opti-Coat - wiper blades are the biggest problem for durability. Clean & Protect can be added to the fluid reservoir and should improve cleaning and add some protection. Be aware that it contains no anti-freeze for winter conditions (need to add some alcohol). Dario
Got it - thanks for the reply. Wipers are a big problem, esp since I live where it rains 180 days per year. I'll be re-coating before winter hits.
