berchman Posted November 9, 2022 Share Posted November 9, 2022 After washing and drying my 5 layer Opti-Coat ceramic coated car with ONR, I tested Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer to see if it would increase the gloss. I put it on the driver's door but not on the left side passenger door. Neither I nor my wife could see any difference in gloss between the coated and uncoated doors. They both glowed. I conclude that trying to enhance the gloss on a clean car coated with five layers of ceramic is what is meant by gilding the lily. Am I rushing to a premature conclusion?
