Mark G.
I'm planning applying 22912 Gloss-Coat soon and have a concern. I've prepped the car with stripping car wash, clay, and ceramic coat prep-spray but have found some water spots in certain areas that have been difficult to remove. I believe I've removed most or all of the spots but, as my car is white, it's difficult to see them unless the light is just right. If I apply the Gloss-Coat over any spots I may have missed, will the solvent in the coating dissolve any water spots I may have overlooked? Thank you. Ron@Optimum
ceramic coatings will not repair water spot etching, in fact one of the major benefits of ceramic is that it won't etch from water, bug guts, sap, etc. You should polish out the spots before you coat.
