Cdn_detailer
Just ordered some gloss coat. I’m in Canada and it’s been ordered to my US address for pickup in a few weeks. I have the option to store my stuff in climate controlled building. given that “raw” gloss coat should be stored with less air im wondering how bad is heat? Fridge is recommended I know, but short term is some heat ok? Any other products to worry about? I mean if the stuff is applied to the car and withstands elements it should be fine in the bottle? I did have a pro-blew years and years ago with optimum polish (cream polish) basically turned to water on me.
Ron@Optimum
Gloss-Coat does not have to be refrigerated and heat should not be a problem. After use, expunge any air from the syringe and replace the black cap tightly. There is no bottle...
Kiddetailer
I just took a look at my opti lens and gloss coat that I had for probably 5 -6years, which i kept in a zip lock bag and indoors in a container. The Optilens turned white (like butter or lard), the Gloss coat turned to a moist Jelly.
Ron@Optimum
OL and GC do not have long shelf lives, no matter how you store them. And once you've used part of the syringe, the clock is ticking.
