Since Opti-Seal & Glosscoat have similar characteristics & application, can I add some glosscoat into the opti-seal bottle for enhanced gloss & durability? Ron@Optimum Posted October 31, 2022 Share Posted October 31, 2022 If you add Gloss-Coat to an Opti-Seal bottle, you'll get a gel very quickly, there's a reason ceramic coatings are packaged in syringes. I also suspect there's a chemical reason you shouldn't mix the two, but I won't be able to provide it until I talk to Dr G. He's out of pocket at SEMA this week, so it will be awhile. Posted December 1, 2022 Author Share Posted December 1, 2022 Recently, I applied glosscoat and followed up with optiseal immediately after by spraying directly on the vehicle with no apparent adverse effects. I have been in contact with the vehicle owner - several washes & a month or so in, reports great water behavior & gloss. What would you consider an adverse reaction ?
