gpgt2
Can onr be used to clean away polishing oils before applying lsp?
gpgt2
Thanks for the reply Chris, I really like using onr, I hate to drag a hose out now.
Shawn Tedrow
I was wondering the same thing. So could I polish out the car with OPT polishes, follow with an ONR wash and then apply Opti-Coat? Or would I still require the 15% IPA wipe-down?
Islandson81
Polished my car just the other day, and sprayed ONR diluted to QD strength to remove residue. Worked great!

primo spaghetti
I had a marring issue on toyota paint with just the damp MF (cobras) but thanks to chris's suggestion, I mixed a bucket of ONR and used it to wipe oils prior to OC and didnt have to bump up to the QD concentration, which was my first thought. beetlevw72
As long as the polish is really loaded with oils I think the ONR works great even with other polishes like Chris had mentioned in the second post. It cleaned off D300 off of my father's Forester really well recently. Really wipes away easily at wash strength. Oh, and smells awesome too. beetlevw72
BTW my LSP on my dad's ride was UPGP and the ONR wipedown seemed to make the application go easier too for what its worth.
Islandson81
Polished my car just the other day, and sprayed ONR diluted to QD strength to remove residue. Worked great! I did the same thing a few days back, and it also worked great for me.
