Is this appropriate for kitchen surfaces?

I'm waiting for my sample, but think it's effective on non-porous surfaces like granite, concrete, tile, etc.

since Assure is new to me, I got a clarification from Dr G - by porous it means like a fabric, where the product is absorbed and can't do it's thing on the surface.  Assure will assuredly do it's job on kitchen counters.
