Obsidian
Hi all I had my VW Atlas coated with Opticoat Pro Plus last year and I was thinking of using TAC Systems Moonlight as maintenance coat. Is that good idea?
No Soap
I think you won't get an answer from here? Try get it from TAC?
Setec Astronomy
That TAC product is a topper for SiO2 coatings. Opti-Coat isn't an SiO2 coating (although the "Plus" part may be, or an SiC/SiO2 hybrid). I would be more inclined to use this: http://opti-coat.net/opts/Opti-Coat maintenance/hyper-seal
Ron@Optimum
You are correct, No Soap, Optimum does not test competitors products and has no experience with TAC. Hyper Seal on the other hand, was formulated for Coatings and does contain Si02 components.
Lowejackson
The TAC won't do any harm and maybe the bigger issue is how durable it would be. I say try it and see what happens if you already own it but if looking to buy something then the HyperSeal makes the most sense.
Obsidian
Thanks chaps. I'll try Hyper-seal route and see how it goes.
