jsv
I have a Porter Cable Dual Action polishing tool. Can I use that tool with the appropriate foam pad to apply opti-seal on my vehicle?
Setec Astronomy
Opti-Seal is really easy to apply, I don't know why you would want to do it by machine. You are talking about the clear sealant in the spray bottle, right?
Ron@Optimum
I don't see any advantage to applying by machine and potential issues. It's formulated to apply by hand and works best that way.
Lowejackson
I would guess it would be quicker by hand than by machine, especially if one considers the time to dig out a machine and sort out the pads. It would be an interesting test with a wax pad but given it takes only a few minutes to do a car I am not sure what gains there are to be had with a machine. With something like GPS, there is no doubt in my mind this works best applied with a machine
A&J
You can try using a soft pad on the speed of 1or2...but I to don't see the point. I also think you would end up using more opti-seal with a DA than you would by hand.
The Guz
I saw on the optimum facebook group of someone doing this using a wax pad. He said it worked out for him and that he preferred it over doing it by hand. I just don't see the need to do it given how easy it is to apply by hand.
