A&J
I bought a gallon of ONR from TRC EU via a local trader recently and its different then what Im used to...It doesnt color the water as much and its also more green-ish (cyan) then I remember it to be which was blue. The performance of it is about the same. Did the formula formula change recently or am I tripping or what?
A&J
Note that I know OPT does tweek their formula from time to time, so Im just asking if this is what ONR looks like now?
Setec Astronomy
Did you get the ONR wash and wax? That is a yellow-green color. https://www.opticoat.com/product/optimum-no-rinse-wash-wax/
No Soap
I think A&J knows this very well! I read somewhere that someone noticed something similar that the product was a bit different?

Setec Astronomy
Oh sorry...maybe Dr. G tweaked it so it doesn't stain the wash media now...
Ron@Optimum
since color (and smell) are added, they can change slightly when Optimum changes suppliers. There have been no formula changes recently.

A&J
remember when I talked about ONR not being blue anymore and the water mix not being colored anymore...well I found a video where this guy gets the same results So it must be new version of ONR that I got. Ron@Optimum
There is no new version of ONR, but it's possible we've changed suppliers for the color component...or the ratio. Color has nothing to do with performance...in fact, after mixing the color goes away due to dilution. I'm not sure what the story is with McKees - when they were owners of Autopia (Palm Beach), they were major distributor of Optimum products, now they seem to be targeting our products.
