XxAkaraxX
Hi guys, I would like to know how much ocw should i use whwn i wax our cars? Or how many mid-size car should I be able to wax with a 500ml bottle of Optimum Spray wax?
toddj
I've never really measured, but I bet I use less than 1oz per car. A little goes a long way.
A&J
Never really counted but Ive been using it for the past year to add some protection after wash every month there is still some left. I am guessing but I will say 15+ applications should be a realistic number assuming you are using it sparingly.
XxAkaraxX
Thank you guys. It seems like I used it a lot more than required. I think I used over 80ml at one application. Appreciate your responses.
A&J
You used too much. One squart per panel is enough.
XxAkaraxX
Is there any danger if I dont remove the excess fast enough?
Oldfordisbetter
Chris, did you ever spread the wax with an applicator then buff with a towel? Looks like I have been overusing the wax. Will have to remember to cut it back
Lowejackson
Is there any danger if I dont remove the excess fast enough? No danger, only streaks. Assuming you are using one spray per panel on a cool panel then simply apply and buff. OCW is not a fussy product, it does not give you several seconds to buff or bad things will happen. Once it is applied to the panel, start the buffing. Actually the word buffing can indicate using lots of energy, maybe it is better to say give the panel a light swipes with the cloth

A&J
1-2 sprays per panel (depending on the panel size) should be enough. Less is more with this product.
Habs
Yup I think I used a little to much but no side effects probably wasted product in my towels
Ron@Optimum
The usual sign you've used too much is hazing (easily removed with a damp microfiber).
